 If you want ageless glamour, all you have to do Is follow these simple tips. 


1. EXERCISE 
Regular exercise has two great anti-ageing benefits. One is sweating – yes, really! You might not feel your freshest, but getting sweaty unclogs your pores. The other is boosted circulation, which helps nutrients and oxygen travel more efficiently to the skin. The result? A better complexion, of course. 

2. DETOX 
There’s no need to go to extremes, but cutting out processed, high-sugar and fatty foods, plus caffeine and alcohol every now and then can be a great body boost.

3. GET ENOUGH SLEEP 
Cells in the body repair and recover overnight, so a lack of sleep leaves you with a higher chance of fine lines, dark circles or puffy bags. Six to eight hours’ snoozing is one of the best anti-ageing treatments, so snuggle up! 

4. DON’T OVERLOAD ON SUGAR
Dr Nicholas Perricone, famed for his no-sugar approach to fighting ageing, says sugar and refined carbs create inflammation. “Elevated blood sugar causes an increase in free radicals, which attack cells. The result is further damage and accelerated ageing.” So say no to added sugar where you can.

5. EAT YOUR GREENS 
In The Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible, Sarah Stacey and Josephine Fairley say a diet high in green vegetables is good for your gut. The skin is a mirror of digestive health, so keep your tummy working to help with any complexion issues. 

6. CHILL OUT
The way you approach life is written all over your face, says beauty acupuncturist Maggie Brown. “The way stress manifests within us becomes clear on our skin,” she says. She suggests acupressure to release facial tension, and relaxation techniques such as meditation or yoga to help ease the pressure on our minds.

7. BE SUN SMART 
Enjoy short periods in the sun because it boosts your vitamin D levels and keeps your bones healthy. But be careful. Excessive exposure dehydrates the skin, attacks collagen and leaves a saggy, lifeless complexion. Don’t be afraid to slap on the SPF. There are plenty of formulas that don’t have that streaky-white effect. 


8, LOVE YOUR BACK
“Dynamic resistance exercises reduce the onset of osteoporosis and in some cases reverse the effects it has on the body,” says Luke Meessmann, a pilates trainer. Try yoga, pilates or dance classes to boost strength and flexibility. They’ll also give you healthy bones and oints for a youthful posture. 


9. BRUSH YOUR SKIN
A shortcut to bump-free kin is body brushing and massage. It stimulates ymphatic drainage (the ushing of toxins from he body), and boosts he metabolism and your mmune system. It also helps to get rid of dead skin cells and works wonders for cellulite. 

10. STAND UP STRAIGHT
Standing up straight will instantly give you a younger- looking figure. It also helps to prevent back problems, magically slims your middle and, best of all, it’s free. So keep your tummy in, chest lifted, and shoulders back.
